Samuel Harrison Huffman

January 13, 1933 - March 17, 2022

Samuel H. Huffman, 89, a long time Rushville resident, passed away March 17, 2022 in Rushville. He was born January 13, 1933 in Clarion County, PA. to Loral & Avanell (Hanst) Huffman. Samuel went to high school in Marienville, PA and then enlisted in the US Army where he served from 1953-1955. Following his service he enrolled in and graduated from Barber School in PA. The family moved to Rushville around 1968. He retired from Stant Manufacturing in Connersville after working many years in the plating department.. Samuel attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Rushville. He also enjoyed bowling with the Stant dipsticks bowling team. He is survived by his sisters; Nancy Adkins of Rush County and Sandra Ristau of Avon, several nieces and nephew also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family one hour prior to service on Friday. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville Parks Department.
