Renee Marie Mooney

Renee Marie Mooney, 66 of Rushville, passed away on November 14, 2021 in Indianapolis. She was born on May 6, 1955 in Rushville to Thomas and JoAnna (Davis) Downs. Renee was loved by family and friends because of the love she shared with all those around her during her time on this earth. She attended Rushville High School and graduated in 1975. Renee had many talents and skills, with one of them being singing. Renee loved life and she always lived life to the fullest. We all will miss Renee’s laugh, goofiness, and her ability to light up the room with her smile and personality. Renee’s biggest passion in life was her family. She loved everybody and everyone loved her back. She is reunited in death with her parents, sister, Cynthia Downs and her husband, Odell Mooney, Jr. Renee leaves to cherish her memory to her daughter, Rekisha Anne Mooney, brothers, Thomas Henry Downs, John Edward Downs, Lawrence Eugene Davis, Jamie Downs, Charles Eugene Davis, sister-in-law’s, Mary Jane Downs, Mary Davis and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1 PM, with Rev. Mary Downs presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary.
