Phyllis Ann Cherry

Phyllis Ann Cherry, 81, of Arlington, IN. passed away on February 28, 2022 in Rushville. Phyllis was born August 23, 1940 in Westwood, IN. to Richard and Edna (Huse) True. She was a 1958 graduate of New Castle High School. She married Philip Arthur Cherry on July 13, 1971 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2014. Phyllis was a homemaker and longtime member of the Arlington Christian Church. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her neighbors. She is survived by daughters; Juanita (Dan) Depuy of Wilmer, AL., Bobette (Gary) Hardin of Arlington, Kay (Joe) Beaupre of Milwaukee and Lyn Stribling of Anderson, SC., sons; Craig (LeAnn) Winningham of Lebanon and Doug Cherry of Martinsville, her grandchildren; Chandra (Jeremy) O'Mary, Ben Eavenson, Katie (Damon) Kries, Charlotte Winningham, Alan (Lauren) Winningham, Gil (Tanya) Winningham, Alisa (John) Zakula, Charlie Pennington, Sophie Winningham, Gary (Hayley) Hardin, Gabrielle Hardin, Emily Hardin, Chris (Tessa) Myers and Elizabeth Finley, great grandchildren; Savanna, Ryleigh, Aiden, Elijah, Donovan, Jason, Prestyn, Bentlie, Carol, Von, Mordecai and April, her brother; Maurice (Linda) True, sister-in-law; Carolyn True and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; Ronnie True, brother-in-law; Larry Cherry and sister-in-law; June Cherry. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Gary Holt presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until time of service on Friday. Burial will be held at a later date in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arlington Christian Church.
