Ned Foster Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ned Foster, 83, a life long Rush County area resident, passed away at his home on August 7, 2021. He was born April 17, 1938 in Rush County to Thomas & Beatrice (Bagley) Foster. Ned was a 1957 New Salem High School graduate. He married Maribel Willis on July 23, 1960 and she survives. Ned was a life long Rush County farmer. He loved the land and his John Deere equipment. He was a former member of the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department. Ned is survived by his wife; Maribel, of Rush County, a son; Greg Foster (Pennie McCreery) of Rush County, a daughter; Melanie (David) Ayers of Connersville and grandchildren; Cameron Cox (Meg)of Washington, Marissa Babbitt (Colin) of Indianapolis, Clayton Foster (Bekah) of Fort Collins, CO. and Olivia Combs (Dylan) of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Harriet Flack & Ruth Ann York and brothers; Thomas Foster, Jr., John B. Foster & Lewis Foster. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with John Gasser presiding. Burial will be in the Rushville East Hill Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 10 AM until time of service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Community Foundation or to the Rushville Public Library.
