    Michael L. Wicker

    March 27, 1951 - March 24, 2022

    Michael L. Wicker, 70, of Dubois, WY., formerly of Rushville, passed away on March 24, 2022 in Wyoming. He was born March 27, 1951 in Rushville. He was the son of Wilbur Gideon Stevens, Jr. and Wanda Mae (Orme) Stevens. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He married Carol Ann Stagg on November 25, 1988. Michael drove a truck his entire life. He drove several years for Staggerlee, Inc. and had retired with Quickway Carriers in 2017 after driving for Quickway since 2001. He had driven over 4 million miles. Michael was a member of the Rushville Church of Christ and a member of Union Hall Local #135. In addition to his wife; Carol, of Dubois, WY. he is survived by his mother; Wanda Mae Stevens of Rushville, his daughter; Amelia "Milly" (Paul) Marlatt of Rushville, grandson; Levi Marlatt of Rushville, brothers; Jackie Lynn Wicker (Linda Bridgeman) of New Palestine and Paul David (Doris) Wicker of VA and sisters; Julie Mae (Terry) Fussner of Rushville and Bonnie Jean (Mark) Miller of New Castle and his wonder dog; Jake. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family at the mortuary from 10 AM until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul & Avanelle Stagg Fund thru the Rush County Community Foundation.
