Marlin K. Wilson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marlin K. Wilson, 82 of Greenfield, passed away on May 16, 2022 in Greenfield. He was born on December 18, 1939 in Madison, IN at the Jefferson Proving Ground, to the late Foster and Florence Vivian (Barber) Wilson. Marlin was a 1958 graduate of Carthage High School and went onto Elkart Tech School. He married Jill Hunter on December 3, 1960 and she preceded him in death on July 13, 2000. Marlin married Mardell (Wrightsman) Draper on August 4, 2001 and she survives. He worked at Marion General Hospital as a histologic technician. Marlin was a member of Hannegan Christian Church and also was an Elder. He loved listening to country music, playing golf and fishing. In addition to his wife, Mardell; he is survived by his daughters, Dana (Terry) Cole of Franklin, NC and Debbie (James) Brown of New Port Richey, FL; step children, Teresa (Chris) Smith of Greenfield, Barbara (Rick) Walker of Indianapolis, Ronda (Mark) Notter of Indianapolis and Jim (Amanda) Draper of Rushville; brother, Foster (Brenda) Wilson of Arlington and sister, Barbara (Bob) Proctor of Arlington. He will also be missed by his 5 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 3 step great- grandchildren. Marlin is preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Janice Fitch. Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:30 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Warren Engel presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 10:30 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hannegan Christian Church in memory of Marlin.
