James Springmire

James Springmire, 77 of Milroy, passed away on May 12, 2022 in Milroy. He was born on November 23, 1944 in Rushville to the late Noble and Ruth (Emsweller) Springmire. James was a 1963 graduate of Milroy High School and went a year in Indianapolis at Lincoln Tech College. He married Debbie Sherwood on November 17, 1963 and she survives. James was a member of the Milroy Christian Church. He enjoyed any kind of mechanical work on antiques. James worked at Harcourt Outlines for over 42 years. In addition to his wife, Debbie, he is survived by his son, David Springmire of Milroy; sister, Judy Springmire of Rushville; grandson, Brandon Springmire and granddaughter, Kayla Springmire. James is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Diana Springmire. Private Services will be held for James. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of Southern Indiana in memory of James.
