Jack W. Herbert

Jack W. Herbert, 63, of Rushville, passed away April 12, 2022 at his sister's home in Milroy. He was born September 16, 1958 in Rushville to Ralph Herbert & Beverly J. (Keith) Buhler. He was a 1976 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and served from 1976-1979 in the USMC. He spent many years after service in CA & KY before moving back to Rushville in 2008. He was an owner/operator truck driver for over 20 years and had been greens keeper @ Antler Point for 7 years. Jack loved riding motorcycles! He is survived by his mother; Beverly J. Buhler of Rushville, his sons; Jacob Herbert of KY and Timothy Herbert of CA, a daughter; Crystal Rose Dehn of CA, his sisters; Beth Ann (Scott) Whittaker of Milroy and Debra J. (Kenneth) Ellingson of S.C., a brother; Joseph Herbert and half brother; Josh Herbert both of Milroy, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother; Thomas W. Herbert and half brother; J. R. Herbert. There will be a time of visitation from 5-7 PM on Friday, April 15, 2022 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Cremation will follow.
