    Brenda K. Allen

    July 25, 1963 - March 14, 2020

    ********All services will be private/immediate family only. This is due to the COVID-19 virus. Our statutory duty of care in its most fundamental form is public health and welfare.******** Brenda K. Allen, 56 of Rush County, passed away on March 14, 2020 in Richmond. She was born on July 25, 1963 in Harlan, KY to the late Jim Wilson and Gladys (Nolan) Atkins. Brenda worked at Auto Car in Hagerstown in labor and then also served as a waitress at Cafe’s. She enjoyed doing activities outside such as fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. Brenda adored animals. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her boys. Brenda is survived by her loving father, Ralph Atkins of Rushville; sons, Bruce Allen of Connersville and Ryan Allen of Connersville; granddaughter, Alyssa Allen; sister, Susan (Paul) Bowling of Rushville and brothers, Greg (Brandi) Atkins of Brownsburg and Bill (Jovene) Wilson of Harlan, KY. She will sadly be missed by several nieces and nephews. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Brayden Allen. Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12:30 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Howard Bullard presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Glen Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards funeral expenses.
