    March 24, 1929 - May 18, 2021

    Betty Lou Shook, 92, a life long Rush County area resident, passed away May 18, 2021 in Rushville. She was born March 24, 1929 in Rush County to Vernon & Alta (Hankins) Ruble. She married Jesse Shook on December 4, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2012. She is survived by her children; Michael (Stephanie) Shook of Rushville, Gregory (Diana) Shook of Rushville, Carolyn (Edward) Whittaker of Rushville, Brenda (Bob) Montgomery of Rushville, Dennis (Melody) Shook of Rushville, Mark (Susan) Shook of Greensburg, Kevin (Jeannie) Shook of Rushville and Marcia (Bennie) Cameron of Rushville, sisters; Shirley Means of Greensburg, Donna (Paul) Makofka, Nancy (Jim) Cloud and Bonnie Wagner all of Rushville, 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister; Rosemary Wildey, brothers; Jimmy, Jack & Steve Ruble and 4 grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, May 21, 2021 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor James Coyle presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Friday from 11 AM until time of service. Burial will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery in Milroy. Memorial contributions may be made to Premier Hospice. All in attendance are encouraged to wear a mask!
