Betty Pribble, 88 of Rushville, passed away on January 24, 2022 in Rushville. She was born on July 1, 1933 in Rushville to the late Adrian and Helen (Kennedy) Eckart. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Mays High School. She married Edward “Ed” Pribble on October 13, 1956 and he survives. Betty worked at Webb Elementary as the school secretary and then went on to retire from Rushville Consolidated Schools as a Title 1 Reading Tutor. She was a lifelong member of Plum Creek Christian Church; where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, helping with funeral meals, and her service with the Ladies Aide. She was also was a member of the Rush County Gingham Gals. Betty loved the time spent with family and especially loved family dinners through the holidays. She was a wonderful seamstress. In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Jim) Greulich of South Bend, Rhonda (John) Kinman of Greenwood and Amie (Gary) Cameron of Rushville; brothers, Norman (Millie) Eckart of Centerville and Paul (Sherry) Eckart of Rushville; sisters, Virginia (Ed) Bryson of Spiceland, Katy (Jim) Sterrett of Rushville and Ruth Geise of Arlington. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Andrew Greulich, Lea Greulich, Monica Greulich, Katie Kinman, Patrick (Sarah) Kinman, Rachel Cameron, Ryan Cameron, Danielle Cameron, and Amanda Scheiderer adopted granddaughter, Morgan Miller and; great-grandchildren, Theo and Luke Kinman, Gavin Cameron, Graham and Garrett Scheiderer. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Francis Eckart. Services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 PM in Plum Creek Christian Church, with Pastor Ray Sweet presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the church. Burial will be held in Rushville East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Plum Creek Christian Church. Moster Mortuary is entrusted to the arrangements of Betty. The Pribble family would like to honor Betty as a mother, grandmother and friend. As a Godly woman she walked steadfast as a Christian and lived her faith, shared it with family and friends. She would invite all to give their lives to Christ.
