Colleen Pearl "Boo" Wesley

Colleen Pearl “Boo” Wesley, 90 of Arlington, passed away May 28, 2026 in Greensburg. She was born May 14, 1936 in Rushville to the late Leroy Moore and Ruby (Linville) Clevenger. Colleen was a 1954 graduate of Arlington High School. She married Dester “Dick” Wesley on April 10, 1954 and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2021. Colleen always enjoyed golfing trips with her husband and friends. Colleen raised her children in Arlington. Being an avid seamstress, she made all of the girl’s clothing. When Fall came around, she worked at Pioneer Seed sorting corn. In 1983, she worked at Arlington State Bank and then went to work at the BMV in Rushville. She worked part time for Rush County Schools as a bus aide and a special needs aide. Colleen was a longtime member of Arlington Christian Church. She was always available to help with any special project at the church. Later in her life, she thoroughly enjoyed being the door greeter. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought her so much joy. Colleen is survived by her son; Gary Wesley of Indianapolis, daughters; Beth (Mike) Williams of Kissimmee, FL, Holly (Doug) Whitaker of Rushville and Carolyn Wesley of Rushville; brother, Dave (Dottie) Clevenger of Rushville. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashley) Wesley, Kelly (Alex) Partlow, Joshua & Jerrod Wedding, Abbey Jo Whitaker, Daniel (Courtney) Herbert, Stephen Cole (Macy) Hittle and McKenzie Hittle and great grandchildren; Emma Joann Partlow, Scarlett Nadine Partlow, Evelyn Faye Wesley, Natalie Rae Hittle, Alec Vaughn Hittle, Averi Laine Marcicki , Oaklee James Herbert, Blakelee Rose Herbert and Kashton Michael Wedding. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Earl Clevenger, husband, son Steven R. Wesley, twin granddaughters Olivia Marie & Victoria Rene Williams; daughter-in-law Connie Wesley; and her brother John O. Moore. Services will be held Monday, June 1, 2026 at 10AM in Moster Mortuary with Pastor Gary Holt presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family Sunday evening from 4:30PM-7PM in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Arlington Christian Church.
